The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Australia plays a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities by providing funding for various supports and services. Through NDIS funding, participants can access ready-made meals as part of their broader support plan which includes MYMC meals.
We have recently been recognised with the NDIS, attracting more participants interested in utilising our services. Under NDIS coverage, participants typically receive up to 70% of their meal allowance, covering ingredient sourcing and meal preparation costs, leaving them responsible for only 30%.
However, as we're still in the early stages of our NDIS partnership, we currently don't offer split payments or invoices reflecting this breakdown. Participants are required to place their orders directly with us, paying upfront, and then submitting their invoices to their plan manager or the NDIS for reimbursement.
While our invoices don't explicitly display the 70/30 split, they provide an itemised breakdown of all purchased items and delivery costs, which has proven suitable for most participants' needs.
🗒️ A few things to note
We currently do not offer split invoices to our NDIS and Home Care Clients
- All participants are to pay for their order up-front in full and then are able to provide their invoice to their provider or plan manager for reimbursement.
- NDIS participants do not require any special considerations when creating an account or placing orders with us. In order to place an order with us, simply create an account via the website Sign Up process.
- You will need to create an account using an email address you have access to, as this will be the email address all order confirmations and invoices will go to.
- We would not recommend signing up with the plan managers email as it becomes hard to then access your account and history if you change managers in the future, and logging in requires access to the account email to receive a sign in link.
- Once you have created an account you can place your first order via the website using the standard checkout process.
Accessing Your Invoices
If you need a copy of your most recent or past invoices, please follow the steps below:
- Log into their account
- Click on My Account in the top right corner of web page
- Select on Dashboard and scroll down to My Orders
- Select View Details and then Print Invoice
- This will open up a new browser tab and from there you will be able download the PDF version of your invoice.
